Great beach, we felt like Robinson Crusoe on the beach, almost just the 2 of us. Visiting Mahdu Lake at 6 a.m. watching the sun goes up. A natural paradise with a lot of birds and other animals. Listening to their different noises. Dining at the Mangrove Cave Restaurant we enjoyed freshest seafood. It was just very tasty.

The host Jeevan was extremely kind and generous that he never hesitated to help and get out of his way to make us feel home! He took us to explore great places in his area on his tuktuk and the kids just loved his place ! We couldn’t get over the breathtaking views starting from early morning till evening, It’s filled with great energy, thank you for making our trip unforgettable!

The staff is performing at its best - always ready to help, providing information and making sure my stay is comfortable. The room meets all the requirements, clean, all is working properly, the furniture is very good and of course the view. And kayaking is just an awesome activity, I saw true Sri Lankan life while kayaking on the Madu Ganga river.

The place felt like a little oasis with amazing views over the river, we spent a couple hours in the infinity pool watching eagles hunt there. Jeewana was a great host. He gave us a lot of tips of what to see in the area and even drove us to a sea turtle sanctuary. Fantastic stay, would definitely come back!
