Dating back to 1883, La Tremoille is a legend in its own right. From a private residence, it was transformed into a hotel in 1925. Ever since the hotel has hosted a plethora of personalities, including some of the world’s great jazzmen; a photo of Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington hanging in the reception area tells of their passage.

The hotel took the name of Louis II de La Tremoille, a statesman under François I’s reign. Dubbed “Louis ², Sire de La Tremoille”, the restaurant has transcended its august origins by modernizing the Renaissance knight’s name.

Today, La Tremoille luxury spa hotel in Paris pays tribute to this past by providing top-of-the-range contemporary services. Refinement and modernism are intricately combined: authentic molding and marble fireplaces mingle with the latest technologies while the Aubusson tapestry of the main staircase provides a grand setting for the exquisite hall furnishings.

La Tremoille Paris is located in the heart of the 8th arrondissement of Paris, a few steps from the famous Avenue Montaigne, the Eiffel Tower, the Champs-Elysées and the Arc de Triomphe. The Orsay museum is only 20 minutes walking distance and the Louvre museum is 30 minutes walking distance from the hotel.

This boutique hotel is stand out from the crowd by its typically Parisian elegance and its classic French charm: haussmannian building, listed facade in cut stone, authentic moldings on the ceiling, bathroom in marble, paintings and tapestries.
